Back in 1953, the first Hailo waste bin for fitted kitchens had been introduced into the market - and this initial concept has developed into a whole range. They have already received a number of awards for their exceptional design, such as the red dot award, the iF Design Award and the Interzum Design Award. The Vario AluLine organisation system was also nominated for the Federal Republic of Germany design prize in 2002.
